"Ankommen - Ausruhen - sich durch das ganze hausgemachte Kuchenbuffet futtern und den grandiosen Ausblick genießen - hier möchte man immer bleiben - und weil es so schön ist - zum Nachtisch noch ein Eiskaffee oder ein Eisbecher - hier stimmt die erstklassige Qualität gepaart mit Quantität. Nicht zu vergessen, die freundlichen Damen vom Service."

"Hatten eine kleine Wanderauszeit im Alpencafe eingelegt weil es Regnete Haben schöne Kuchen und auch Eis becher das Speckbrot ist sehr gut und reichlich gewesen dazu ein Berchtesgadner Dunkel und es ging gestärkt weiter"

"Mit großem Bedauern haben wir zur Kenntnis nehmen müssen, daß das Alpencafe nicht mehr für Tagesgäste nachmittags geöffnet ist. Seit vielen Jahren kommen wir ein- bis zweimal jährlich nach Schönau und natürlich standen viele Besuche im Alpencafe auf unserem Plan. Herrliche Aussicht, tolles Ambiente, nette Bedienung, leckere Kuchen und natürlich das Eierlikörchen zum Kaffee. Natürlich kann man die Entscheidung der Inhaber nachvollziehen, aber ein kleiner Wermutstropfen für den diesjährigen Urlaub im Juni besteht schon jetzt. Schade, wir vermissen euch jetzt schon und unsere tollen Nachmittage auf eurer wunderschönen Terrasse."

"Das Alpencafe ist sehr schön angelegt und eingerichtet mit komplett neuer Außenanlage. Der Service zuvorkommend und schnell. Der Cappuccino und Kuchen sehr lecker. Dazu die perfekte Aussicht Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen."

"The Alpencafé is in a wonderful location with a marvellous view of the mountain landscape. We were there at coffee time and really enjoyed the home-baked apple and raspberry cake with a cup of cappuccino. The waiters were very friendly and the prices are at a normal level. All in all, a clear recommendation. Try it out!"

"Dort gibt es den besten Kuchen, den wir je gegessen haben Und wenn man einen Kaffee o.ä. bestellt, bekommt man ein Gläschen Eierlikör mit Sahnehäubchen, sehr lecker. Sehr freundlicher und flotter Service!! Und das alles bei so einem tollen Bergpanorama Wir freuen uns jedes Jahr darauf, wenn wir Ende September im Hotel sind"
